Crunchyroll has revealed the first teaser trailer for Dandadan Season 2, the next chapter of the hit anime based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga of the same name. The new season is set to premiere in July 2025 on Crunchyroll.
The story of Dandadan follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, who is obsessed with the occult. The two start talking after Momo saves Okarun from bullies, but they quickly clash—Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. To prove each other wrong, Momo visits an abandoned hospital known for UFO sightings, while Okarun checks out a haunted tunnel.
Both Okarun and Momo end up facing intense paranormal activity beyond their understanding. Momo discovers her hidden powers during these encounters, and Okarun gains a cursed ability to fight the supernatural. Along the way, their bond deepens, sparking the start of their unusual love story.
