Plot Summary

Dark Nuns is a movie that focuses on Hee Joon, who gets possessed by an evil spirit. The movie shows how one can reach the edges and cross any bridge to save the life of a loved one. After learning the condition of Hee Joon, Sister Yunia takes action on this case and decides to help him out.
Sister Yunia never gives up on Hee Joon no matter how chaotic the situation gets. After seeing this attitude of Sister Yunia, Sister Michaela joins hands to help her out. The situation around them gets very hectic and chaotic, as it seems impossible to make things right.
Father Paolo is a psychiatrist; he also gets involved in this case and tries to cure Hee Joon. Father Paolo believes that he can cure him or bring him back to his old condition by giving him medical treatment. On the other hand, Father Andrea is an expert exorcist; he performs an exorcism on Hee Joon to make him okay. This step taken by Father Andrea feels necessary to him, as this would help to bring out the evil spirit and separate it from Hee Joon.
More Drama, Less Terror

Dark Nuns Korean Movie is more like a bad-to-the-bone instead of a spine-chilling one. No doubt it is scary like other movies, but if you are searching for a movie to experience jump scares, creepy moments, and an extremely heavy horror film, then this isn’t the one. The reason behind this is the plot buildup. It is written in a way that you will not stay hooked to it for the jump scares and creepy vibes but the plot of it.
The movie doesn’t focus on scaring people or leaving a big impression of scaring them, but it is written in a manner that the audience could directly connect to the characters of the movie, especially the outcast nun. The nun is determined and has an attitude of doing things according to her choice; she is different from other nuns as she smokes and cusses but knows how to care.
Even though she feels fear, she faces it for the boy. She feels those emotions not for herself but for the boy; the care and concern the main nun holds for the boy is something that one shouldn’t miss out on watching. The movie doesn’t feel very scary because the main character is fearless, and she has been written in a way that the character shows growth and development instead of the movie being scary.
Verdict
Watching Dark Nuns can be a great choice for a movie lover. But watching this can be a huge disappointment for someone who loves to watch heavy horror movies full of spine-chilling scenes and jump scares. This is a great movie to keep you hooked and entertain you. Dark Nuns has a great plot, and the ending is very unexpected. If you enjoy horror movies with great plotlines, then this movie is for you.
